Rope Bondage Rope Rigger In BDSM Glossary 6

Rope Rigger in BDSM; A rigger is someone who enjoys tying other people up in rope. A rope is a popular tool in the Bdsm community. A rigger is generally a dominant, and their submissive, the person who is tied up, is sometimes known as a rope bunny, rope bottom, or rope slut. However, this is not always the case as not all kink play involves a set Dom /slave dynamic. Riggers are also sometimes known as rope artists. The term "rigger" comes from sailing when it was applied to the person who was responsible for the ropes that controlled the sails. Rigger can be used to refer to anyone who gets pleasure from tying people up. Riggers can also perfect complex patterns and knots, such as in ‘ Shibari ‘, that move a bound person’s body into unnatural positions that may not be entirely comfortable for that person.

Rope Bondage Rope Bunny In BDSM

Rope Bunny in BDSM; Rope Bunny is used to describe a person who enjoys being tied up with rope. This may be for a variety of reasons. Just because someone is a rope bunny does not necessarily mean they are a submissive. They may just be a ‘bottom’. But due to the language this is often the case, as well as referring to a female rather than a male. This is not a hard and fast rule by any means. The counter part to a Rope Bunny is a Rigger – the person who does the tying of the rope in to intricate restraints.

Sadist in BDSM; Generally, ‘ sadist,’ ‘ dominant,’ ‘ dom/domme,’ and ‘ top ‘ are used for the person in the position of power or the one acting on the other (to dominate, inflict pain, etc.) and ‘ masochist,’ ‘ submissive,’ ‘ sub,’ and ‘ bottom ‘ used for the person on the receiving end.

Sir in BDSM; Sir is used in D/s and BDSM lifestyles in reference to the power exchange, which is earned between a Dominant and his submissive when the sub acknowledges Sir as the Dominant and relinquishes her ‘control’, safe in trust and respect that has grown between them. Sissy in BDSM; Is a person (male or female) who enjoys being engaged in feminization as a kink. Sissy (derived from sister), also sissy baby, sissy boy, sissy man, sissy pants, etc., is a pejorative term for a boy or man who does not demonstrate masculine traits, and shows possible signs of fragility. A sissy is in the main submissive to their partner. Generally speaking, sissy implies a lack of courage & strength, athleticism, coordination, testosterone, male libido, and stoicism. A man might also be considered a sissy for being interested in typically feminine hobbies or employment (e.g., being fond of fashion), displaying effeminate behavior (e.g., using hair products, hydrating products, or displaying limp wrists), being un-athletic or being homosexual. Sissy is, approximately, the male converse of tomboy (a girl with masculine traits or interests), but carries more strongly negative connotations.

Where the dominant micro manages the submissives life, routines, how they dress, where they can and can’t go, what they can eat, and what they can do etc, everything. Some astute Dominants need a spread sheet to control and manage their submissive. It amounts to taking complete control of the submissives life.

Rope Slave

Slave is by far the most loaded and triggering term in the common BDSM vernacular. Before engaging with the word slave, educate yourself so you have an understanding of historical trauma around slavery, from the trans-Atlantic slave trade to current day human trafficking. The expression is often associated with BDSM, where submission to such activity is usually voluntarily and consensual. Submission usually involves a degree of trust by the woman in her partner. The dominant partner is usually a man, but can also be another woman, or there can be multiple dominant partners simultaneously. The submissive woman may derive sexual pleasure or emotional gratification from relinquishing (to varying degrees) control to (as well as satisfying) a trusted dominant partner. It refers to the active and passive roles, not who is physically positioned on top or physically positioned on the bottom during a sexual act.
