King Dom In Bdsm

King Dom in BDSM; A quite recent addition to the lexicon of BDSM terminology. Your first name is King your last name is Dom:). It seems that over the last few years, especially since the Fifty shades of grey film in 2015 every male and their dog, think they are a dominant in Bdsm. Resulting in some submissives being put off Bdsm for life due to inexperienced Doms who don’t know what they are doing. However; this has not gone un-noticed. Some long term very experienced older dominants (over 40 years of age) no longer want to be associated with the standard ‘ Dominant ‘ handle. So a contemporary author of BDSM books Harry Hugo (himself an experienced dominant), coined the term ‘ King Dom ‘ which alludes to elite dominants who want to set themselves apart from ‘ regular dominants ’. King Doms are generally mature very experienced.

They know how to micro manage submissives. And can provide crucial after-care, and know how to handle the psychological aspect relating to a lg experiencing sub drop. King Doms use the phrase in their bdsm profiles online. Younger dominants (under 40 years ) can be called out if they use the ‘ King Dom ‘ title to describe themselves. Many may have a wealth of experience, but many require maturity that comes with age. It doesn’t mean that all Doms over 40 will be experienced in their craft. Those who aren’t exp, and use the term, will also be quickly found out by submissives and called out online, much to their embarrassment. King Doms are saying we are the real deal, we know our craft, so all other Doms should wait until at least 40 years of age to gain experience in Bdsm, before using the phrase King Dom.
